June 2, 2010 – Vienna, Virginia

Vienna, Virginia (June 2, 2010)…GCS, a professional services and solutions provider to federal government and industry clients, was ranked #23 on the third annual listing of the 50 Fastest-Growing Women-Led Companies compiled by the Women Presidents’ Organization (WPO) and sponsored by American Express.  GCS’ annual revenues more than quadrupled between 2005 and 2009.

WPO, a trade group for multimillion-dollar women-owned businesses, determined the list using a formula that combines percentage revenue growth and absolute growth.  To be eligible for the list, companies must be privately owned, women-owned or led, and have generated at least $2 million by year-end 2009, among other criteria.  Membership in WPO was not required.  About 400 companies applied for inclusion on the list.

Nicole Geller, founder and CEO of GCS, said, “We’re honored to be included among an impressive list of women-led businesses across the country at our 15-year anniversary milestone.  Our growth is a direct result of our people being highly engaged in what they do best.  It’s exhilarating to succeed by focusing our expertise on the best interests of our clients. “

The WPO is the premier global peer advisory organization connecting top women entrepreneurs who own multi-million dollar companies.  In monthly meetings across North America, Peru, the UK and South Africa, chapters composed of 20 accomplished women presidents, from diverse industries and backgrounds, invest their time and energy in themselves and their businesses to drive them to the next level.  Local WPO chapters are coordinated by a professional facilitator and meet monthly to share business expertise and experience in a confidential and collaborative setting.  For more information, visit www.womenpresidentsorg.
